If you enter words into both “Name / Keyword” and “Location”, only results that match both fields will be displayed.

The Name / Keyword toggle changes what your search looks for. If you choose Name it will not search general information (good when you are looking for a common name that might appear in general information, like ).

If you select Keyword, your result will search all information.

The minus symbol “-” can be used to exclude any words you don’t want in your results.

The “*” asterisk can be used as a wildcard meaning “doc*” will find doctor and doctors.

To match a phrase such as “Upper Hutt” place quotation marks around the words, Please do not use apostrophes (‘) instead of quotation marks (“).

Common words such as “some” and “then” will not be included in searches.

Your search results are sorted firstly by match accuracy and secondly in alphabetical order. The sort order can be changed to alphabetical or detail.

The BROWSE method can be used to simply show all results within a category. Try this method if you wish to find people in the same category.
