Philosophy
St Peter’s College is a community where all are encouraged to strive for excellence and to stand tall in the Christian values and faith as expressed by Catholic tradition.
Religion Studies is a compulsory part of the curriculum for all pupils. Participation is compulsory in some Christian activities such as class retreats and school mass.
St Peter’s College is able to provide students with a vertically grouped pastoral care structure where three or four students from each of the seven year levels make up each of 32 vertical groups. Senior students, in each vertical group are able to play a supportive role with younger students. A pastoral care programme also exists on a year level basis.
The College has extensive facilities including suites for Music, Art, Technology, Gymnasium, and Whanau.
