St Cuthbert’s College is an independent Christian day and boarding school for 1480 girls from year 1 to year 13 in centrally located Epsom, Auckland.
Innovative learning programmes underpin the St Cuthbert’s College culture with all our students developing a wide range of thinking strategies through our internationally recognised Thinking Skills Programme. In addition, our Teaching and Learning for Excellence Programme enables students to explore questions and make meaningful connections within a sound pedagogical framework.
The St Cuthbert’s College campus covers 6 hectares. Outstanding facilities and dynamic teachers assist our students in becoming positive and self sufficient young women who achieve their goals, attain academic excellence and participate in a wealth of co-curricular activities including music, drama and sport.

Academic Excellence
New Zealand wide league tables for NCEA have consistently placed St Cuthbert’s College students at the top. Whilst we celebrate our high achievers, our greatest satisfaction lies in seeing all of our students attain success – and reach their personal best. From 2010 we are offering both NCEA and IB for years 12 and 13.
St Cuthbert’s College has been first in New Zealand for the last three years with the highest number of Excellences and Merits received at levels 1 and 2 in NCEA and first for the last two years with the number of Excellences received as a percentage of the cohort at Level 3.
In 2009 our students were awarded a total of 109 Scholarships with 26 girls receiving Outstanding Performance Scholarships. Our students are successful in gaining places at leading universities in New Zealand, Australia, USA and the UK.

Co-Curricular Programmes
Professional staff and coaches supported by sporting facilities of the highest quality consistently enable St Cuthbert’s College to achieve outstanding results at regional and national levels in a number of sports. Music and drama contribute to life at St Cuthbert’s College. Choirs, orchestras and productions provide students with a comprehensive range of opportunities to gain experience in performing arts.

Pastoral Care
Our students are supported in a Christian environment underpinned by a strong Values Programme. We have a professional guidance team comprised of deans, counsellors and our College Chaplain. The school motto “By Love Serve” lies at the heart of our values projects, peer support programmes and Habits of Virtue.

Boarding
St Cuthbert’s College offers boarding facilities for girls from Year 7 through to Year 13. Families are able to choose boarding options to suit their needs – full time or weekly. Day girls can, if space is available, arrange to board for short periods. We have a small number of International students. These students have much to offer by adding diversity to our school community.
