Otamatea High School aims to provide a learning culture that will develop the whole child within a safe and secure environment.

Otamatea High School is a rural secondary school approximately 100 kilometres north of Auckland. The school has high expectations for the academic success of its students. We are proud of the results achieved at all NCEA levels. 95% Numeracy and 93% Literacy pass marks are well above National Average. Many students have gone on to achieve considerable success at University level.
The school is committed to offering students a wide range of sporting and cultural activities as well as maintaining an emphasis on academic achievement.
A feature of the school is its safe, supportive environment and small classes. An emphasis is placed on giving students careers education and advice. We make an effort to meet each student’s educational needs.
