All students are allocated email addresses and are able to access email and intranet material from outside the school.

Academic
Lincoln High School is a high performing school academically, culturally and sporting, and offers its 1500 students a wide range of courses and activities. These include traditional subjects such as Mathematics, Science and English as well as a range of languages and those with a specific vocational focus such as Journalism, Tourism, Information Technology and Hospitality. We prepare our students for the NCEA examinations. We value learning with others, life long learning and are a school that takes account of individual learning differences that lead to greater self awareness.

Extra Curricular Activities
Lincoln High School has a wide range of activities that are offered to students outside of the classroom, such as chess, music, drama, debating, and theatre sports. Outdoor education programmes run for Years 9, 10, 12 & 13 with activities such as mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, snow boarding and surfing. A full range of sporting opportunities is available to both boys and girls such as volleyball, golf, basketball, table tennis, touch rugby and badminton.

International Students
Lincoln High School welcomes the cultural diversity international students bring to the school. Three levels of ESOL are offered and implemented by highly qualified staff; however enrolments are based on integration of students into mainstream classes.
International Students live with homestays that are carefully selected and monitored by the school. We believe it is important for our students to feel at home and well cared for. The Dean of International Students will provide ongoing personal and academic support.
