Curriculum
The school has a range of academic choices to cater for various individual student needs. As the school is located in a regional area, there is a focus on outdoor education. Kayaking, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby, Net ball, Football & Aerobic-dance are some of the most popular options.

Extra-Curricular Programme
Greymouth High School offers Drama, Sports, Outdoor Education. Included in the sports offered are Hockey, Rugby, Kayaking, Surfing to name some sports offered. Naturally, the seasons do have an impact on what sport is offered at any given time of the year.

Student Welfare and Support
All students who are provided a Homestay by the school are met at the airport by the Homestay Co-ordinator. She continues to meet with students and provides ongoing support for the international students.

Tuition Fees
Until July 2011 (NZD, incl GST):
$11,525 for the full four term academic year. The cost for term one is $4,625, reducing to $2,300 for each subsequent term. ODENZ students welcome. There is a non refundable administration fee of $250. Extra costs: Include Outdoor Education fees, uniform, school trips which should be budgeted for.
Fees for the period July 2011–July 2012:
One term $5,000; Two terms $7,500; Three terms $10,000; Four terms $12,500. Extra costs: Include Outdoor Education fees, uniform, school trips which should be budgeted for.
