Curriculum
Dannevirke High School is a school of top achievers with NCEA results well above schools of a similar decile rating. We offer traditional subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, as well as a wide range of optional subjects.

Extracurricular Programme
Sports offered include cricket, rugby, football, netball and hockey. Opportunity is given to participate in a variety of outdoor pursuits, drama productions and musical opportunities.

Institutional Facilities
In the last five years 75% of the school's facilities have been upgraded with new science labs, computer suites, drama and student support centre. We have a gymnasium, swimming pool and 7.36 ha of playing fields.
