Location
Christ’s College is situated in the heart of Christchurch on the periphery of Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens. Our neighbours include the Christchurch Museum, the Art Gallery and the Arts Centre with Cathedral Square less than a kilometre away. The school buildings lining the quadrangle have enormous architectural significance and have proven an inspiration to those who learn here.

Student Welfare
Through our House system we are able to look after the boys’ emotional, intellectual and physical wellbeing. Boys are grouped into communities (four boarding and six dayboy) led by a Housemaster and will experience role modelling, mentoring and support across the age groups. The Housemaster is responsible for the overall pastoral care of each boy in the House, along with a Senior Master for Student Welfare and a Counsellor.
Our unique boarding programme offers an outstanding variety of weekend activities including all-day events, clubs, and opportunities to study for National Certificate qualifications.

Christ’s College is an independent secondary school for boys specialising in the provision of programmes tailored to meet the needs of teenage boys. Every boy is encouraged to strive to achieve his potential, both within and outside the classroom.
